During this time of year, many of us experience transitions. You may be going back to school or have children going back to school. You may be a recent graduate who is not going back to school or you are going to a new school. We are preparing to move into a new season and maybe that means changes in weather for you. It may be the change in traffic patterns on the way to work now or changes to the amount of work that you have in your profession. Our lives shift a bit and we often do not acknowledge that it is happening. It may a subtle shift or it may be a major change that is occurring in your life right now but it is all important.
Take a moment right now, if you can, and close your eyes. Take 3 deep breaths. Answer these questions.. what change is occurring in my life right now? What does that change mean for me? What are my feelings about that change? What will I miss? What am I looking forward to as I move into this time in my life? I would love for you to speak the answer to these questions out loud or journal a bit about these questions right now. After you feel that you have processed it, take 3 more deep breaths.
